There isn't anything for events that have multiple occurrences. For weekly events, we have to enter them 52 times. See what I mean? Please let us know what your plans are for this.

As I zoom to a day, the days should convert to segments, where I can create a new entry that spans some number of segments.

The segments should change with the zoom, starting, perhaps, with day / night, then changing to morning / afternoon / evening / late night, then hours, then 15 minute segments. At any point, I should be able to highlight a range and add a new entry.

being able to view 1 week alone is very important to me as I tend to plan on a week to week basis (and I think that other people do to).

"next wednesday," or "tomorrow" or "last friday" should all be acceptable inputs for drill-down.

If an event is going to happen multiple times I suggest you have a way to have it duplicatable, and not have to reenter all the info.
